PIONEER OF FRANCIS CREEK DIES TODAY

Death came to Mrs. Wencel Schultz, pioneer resident of Manitowoc county at the home of her son Emil at Francis Creek today, her demise being due to heart trouble with which she had been afflicted the past two years.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock from the home and at 9:30 from the church at Francis Creek, the Rev. J.A. Rauch officiating.

Mrs. Schultz who previous to her marriage was Frances Shimon was a native of Bohemia and was born June 24, 1854. She came to America at the age of 13 and settled here.

Her husband preceded her in death five years ago and she is survived by nine children Joseph and Emil of Francis Creek, Adolph and John of Menchalville, James of Rockwood, Mrs. John Kalista of Grimms, Mrs. Frank Bergel of Francis Creek, Mrs. Frank Slager of Kellnersville, and Mrs. Albert Bolzenthal of Rockwood. Two brothers, Albert Shimon of Denver, Colorado and Emman Shimon of this city, twenty-three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
