Mrs. Michael Seidl, 87, of 435 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Claude LeClair officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mrs. Seidl was born Anna Augustine May 18, 1879, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Peter and Anna Irowitz Augustine, and attended St. Ann School at Francis Creek. She was married to Michael Seidl July 2, 1901, and the couple operated a farm in the Town of Kossuth until retiring in 1935. They then resided at Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death in 1946. She was a member of St. Ann Christian Mothers Society of St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son, John, on the homestead farm, Rt. 2, Manitowoc, three daughters, Mrs. Anton (Lillian) Kochan and Miss Irene Seidl, of Manitowoc and Mrs. John (Anna) Hutterer, of Francis Creek; a sister, Mrs. John Hubacher, of Toledo, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock this Monday evening by the Daughters of Isabella and at 8 o'clock by members of the parish.
