Clarence Lawrence Seidl, age 91, formerly of River Hills Apartments, Manitowoc, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 surrounded by his family at River's Bend Medical and Habilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rev. Theodore Hendricks will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial in the Church Cemetery to follow.

Clarence was born July 3, 1911 in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Frank and Barbara Leitermann Seidl. He grew up and was educated in the Town of Kossuth and married Rita H. Orth September 13, 1949 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rita preceded him in death January 17, 2000. They celebrated 51 years together. He farmed most of his life until 1973 and then drove school bus for St. Anne School until 1978. Clarence was a member of St. Anne Parish, Francis Creek and enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of the Branch River Riders.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law: Carol (Ron) Felber, rural Valders; a son and daughter-in-law: Lawrence (Lori) Seidl, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Jill and Joseph Jonett, Jodi and Thomas Mueller, Renee, Michael, Brenda and Bryan Seidl; three great grandchildren: Ethan and Morgan Mueller and Tyler Jonett; sisters include: Rose Kliment, Green Bay; Helen Denk, Manitowoc; Marcella (Melvin) Krejcarek, Manitowoc; Evangeline Seidl, Manitowoc and LaVerne (Daniel) Matczynski, Manitowoc, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife Rita, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers and two sisters: Elsie Seidl and Florence Dvorachek.

Relatives and Friends may call from 4 - 8 pm Tuesday at The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the procession leaves for St. Anne Church at 10:00 am.

A Parish Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday evening by Fr. Ted.
