Mrs. Clarence (Rita) Seidl, age 77, formerly of River Hills Apts., Manitowoc, and currently a resident of River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, died Monday afternoon, January 17, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2000, at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 1 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rev. Theodore Hendricks will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at the parish cemetery.

The former Rita Orth was born September 7, 1922, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Kaiser Orth. She attended St. Andrew Catholic Grade School, Manitowoc and the Manitowoc Vocational School. On September 13, 1949, Rita was married to Clarence Seidl at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rita retired from Holy Family Hospital in 1984. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek, St. Anne Altar Society and in the past she lectored at St. Anne Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, lawrence (Lori) Seidl, rural Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Ron) Felber, rural Valders; six grandchildren, Jodi (Thomas) Mueller, Jill Felber, Renee, Michael, Brenda, Bryan Seidl; one great grandson, Ethan Mueller; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Audrey) Orth, New Holstein, Francis (Betty) Orth, Wisconsin Rapids, George (Albena) Orth, Manitowoc; one sister and brothers-in-law, Marian (Paul) Skarvan, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and two sisters.

Relatives and friends may call (TONIGHT) Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, led by Fr. Hendricks.
