Miss Irene S. Seidl, 83, died Wednesday evening, January 11, 1989 at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, where she had resided since June. Prior to her illness she had lived at Parkview Haven Apartments, Manitowoc.
Private funeral services for family members will begin at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc on Saturday at 11 am with a funeral mass to follow at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, at 11:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. and burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Irene Seidl was born June 16, 1905 in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Augustine Seidl. She attended schools in the Rockwood area and for many years was employed at Katherine K Corset Shop before her retirement in 1970. Irene was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Manitowoc Senior Citizens and St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, John and Mayme Seidl of rural Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and John Hutterer of Francis Creek; 14 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael and a sister, Lillian Kochan.
There will be no Friday evening visitation. Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
