Death on Tues. of another of our county's old settlers, Michael Seidl.
He was born 29 Sept. 1808 in Neumark on the Bohemian border. He came to America with his family in 1853 and settled in Town Kossuth where he has lived ever since. He has enjoyed good health all his life until about 3 mos. ago when he began to decline, eventually dying of the weakness of old age.
Mourning at his graveside will be 5 children, 3 daughters - Katharina, Anna Scholten and Mrs. Margaretha Seidel - and 2 sons, Michael and Frank.
Burial will take place early tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. on the old Seidel farm in Town Kossuth.
