Mrs. Joseph (Annastasi) Sladky, 77, of Francis Creek, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sladky, nee Annastasi Musil, was born Aug. 13, 1894, in Czechoslovakia. She was married to Joseph H. Sladky April 12, 1921, at Francis Creek. The couple farmed in the Town of Kossuth until 1958. Her husband preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Francis Creek.

Survivors include a son, Leonard of Francis Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph E. (Adeline) Shavlik, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and four grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of funeral service Wednesday. Prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

At Francis Creek this morning, Rev. Rouz officiating, Miss Anastanic (sic) Musil, who recently arrived from Europe, where her parents still reside, and Joseph J. Sladky, son of Joseph S. Sladky, were united in marriage.
Miss Rose Novak acted as maid of honor and Edward Sladky, a brother of the groom, as best man.
A reception was held at the home of the groom's parents, only immediate relatives being present.
