Joseph J. Staral, age 86, of 1714 21st St., Two Rivers, died Friday morning, September 13, 1996, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 16, 1996, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Paul Schumacher with burial to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Joseph was born July 26, 1910, in the town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, son of the late Joseph and Frances Hlinak Staral. On June 25, 1935, he married the former Frances Patek in East Krok. She preceded him in death March 27, 1967. Mr. Staral farmed in the town of Kossuth for many years and was later employed at Hamilton Industries until his retirement in 1980. He was a former member of St. Anne’s Men’s Club, Francis Creek.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Donna Staral, Manitowoc, Sylvester and Marilyn Staral, Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Christine (Scott) Hallfrisch, Manitowoc, Robert (Lisa) Staral, Appleton, Scott Staral, Manitowoc, Joey (Tammy) Staral, Nasvhille, Tenn., Debbie Staral, Kansas City, Mo.; five great-grandchildren, Ashley Hallfrisch, Dylan, Jordan, Tiffany and Morgan Staral; one brother, Victor Staral, Two Rivers; two sisters, Elsie Kratky, Milwaukee, Mary May, Kewaunee; special friend, Helen Young, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard and Daniel Staral, and an infant brother, Willie.
Friends may call from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
