Bernadine “Bunny” Vandenbusch, age 66, of 9322 Inlane Rd., Town of Kossuth, died Friday, October 22, 1999, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 25, 1999, at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Officiating will be Rev. Karen Doty. Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Francis Creek.

Bernadine was born July 9, 1933, in New Denmark, Wis., daughter of the late Emil and Verna Nelsen Johnsen. She attended schools in Denmark and graduated with the class of 1951 from Denmark High School. She married John A. Vandenbusch May 2, 1952, in Green Bay. She was employed at Hal’s Red Owl for many years, where she was the deli manager. Bernadine enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with friends at Boulder Junction, fishing and camping.

Survivors include her husband, John; five children, Robert and Jean Vandenbusch, Gresham, Wis., Terri and Glenn Steber, Manitowoc, Denise Bohman, Manitowoc, Patty and Dennis Musil, Francis Creek, Judy Smith, Green Bay; five grandchildren, Sarah and April Musil, Valeri and Jerry Bohman, Peter Steeber; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Claude and Betty Johnson, Green Bay, Quentin Johnsen, Green Bay, Loretta and Florian Dworak, Rockwood, Ralph Johnsen, Denmark; three brothers-in-law and nine sisters-in-law, Rita (Wayne) Younkle, Green Bay, Murial Brammer, Green Bay, Carol Vandenbush, Green Bay, Leroy (Margaret) Vandenbussch, Green Bay, Michael (Marty) Vandenbusch, Huntington Beach, Calif., Marge Algers, Green Bay, Alice Vandenbusch, Green Bay, Jeanne Vandenbusch, Green Bay, Sheri Vandenbusch, Green Bay. She is further survived by significant other friends, Ted, Nikki, Tyler, Zilles. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Arthur, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.

Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville on Sunday (TONIGHT) from 5-8 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established in Bernadine’s name.
