(1905 - 1982)

Roman B. Tuschl, 76, of Rockwood (Route 2, Manitowoc), died unexpectedly Saturday morning, August 21, at his residence.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James P. Massart will officiate at the Mass of Resurrection and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Tuschl was born Oct. 26, 1905, at Clarks Mills, son of the late John and Barbara Pritzl Tuschl. He married Albina Rezek, August 7, 1912, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. She preceded him in death Jan. 26, 1976. The couple farmed in the Town of Kossuth until retiring August 1969, when they moved to their present home. Mr. Tuschl was employed part time at Francis Creek Farmco Co-op for several years. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek, Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Mr. Tuschl was a member and past president of Francis Creek-Rockwood senior citizens and was serving on the Manitowoc County office commission on aging. At the present time he was a driver for the Rolling Wheels.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Mona of Marrero, La., Thomas nd Mary of Winneconne, Wis.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Robert Kutil of Branch, Ruth and Howard Delsman of Route 1, Whitelaw, Nancy and Eugene Winkler of Oshkosh, Cathy and James Fox of rural Oshkosh; a foster daughter, Mrs. Frank (Becky) Pokrywczynski of Calumet City, Ill.; five brother (sic), John of Manitowoc, Anthony of Whitelaw, Joseph of Madison, George and Leon of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Fern) Esser of Agoura, Calif.; 26 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marcus and a sister, Agnes Baroun.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, after 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of services. Rosary by the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville, 7:30 p.m. and wake service 8 p.m. Monday by Father Massart.
