Mr. Melvin R. (Pat) Zigmunt, age 71, of 609 Forest Home Drive, Francis Creek, died Saturday, September 21, 1991, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 1991, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. from St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek, Wis. Rev. Donald Schneiderwill officiate at the Mass of Resurrection. Burial will be at the St. Anne Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the VFW Kubale-O'Connell Post No. 6179.

Born February 1, 1920, at Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph and Emma Roubal Zigmunt. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Mich., and then moved to Manitowoc. Employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding and then for 31 years at Oriental Milling Co. as a sales representative, retiring in 1985. Married to Florence E. Rezba October 16, 1941, at St. Anne Catholic Church. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. He was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Infantry in Germany, Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Charter member of Francis Creek Sportsmans Club and member of the VFW Kubale-O'Connell Post No. 6179.

Survivors include his wife, Florence E. Zigmunt, Francis Creek, Wis.; children include, Dennis and Marcia Zigmunt, Mareno Valley, Calif., Kay and Ralph Hagenow, Pat and Bonnie Zigmunt, Ted Zigmunt and Chris and Lynn Zigmunt, all of Francis Creek; a brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Erma Zigmunt, Manitowoc, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mildred Martin, Sheboygan, Wis., Mary Ann and Homer Evenson, Florence, Calif., Barbara Siebold, Mundelein, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark, in 1972, a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday after 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday with Father Schneider officiating.
