A former Charleston resident Harry Van Bibber Snyder, 87, of Washington, D. C., died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Snyder worked for the former Lewis Hubbard Grocery Co. He did administrative work in the Canal Zone from 1914 to 1922. The Charleston native was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Only survivors are four nieces and a nephew.
The body will be cremated.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home.
