She was born on Aug. 27, 1923, in Columbia, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Gaither and Eva (Holt) Burton.
She married Van Burton and he preceded her in death in 1972. She then married Walter Campbell and he preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Burton(Marilyn)of Edinburgh, Jackie Burton of Taylorsville, Jerry Burton of Franklin, Johnny Burton of Franklin and Junior Burton of Edinburgh, daughters Judy Coy(Gene) of Edinburgh and Julie Ford of Franklin, and several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddauther.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and two sons, Jeff and James Burton; brothers, Raymond Burton, Pleas Burton and Clarence Burton and sisters, Lula Burton, Vada Goodin, Theria burton, Opal McQuary and Jewel Brown.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to gospel music.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Lewis Burton at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church.
