Gerald T. Philipps, 74, of Wausaukee, WI passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born March 19, 1941 in Marinette to Clifford and Vivian (Long) Philipps.

Gerald resided in Marinette County all of his life and had attended Wausaukee High School.

He married the former Karen Labinsky on September 14, 1968.

He had worked as a woodsman and logger all of his life and was employed by Delaet Enterprises of Wausaukee for over 30 years. Gerald loved deer and bear hunting, Nascar and enjoyed attending stock car races at Norway.

He is survived by his wife, Karen;
three brothers, Donald (Ardis) and Douglas (Lorraine) both of Wausaukee, WI and Clyde (Joyce) of Peshtigo, WI;
a sister, Genevieve Guth of Sheboygan, Wis.;
a sister-in-law, Susan {Wayne} Philipps of Marinette, WI;
and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne; and a sister, Verona Herden.

Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 3 until 5 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Hueter officiating.
