- Middle name on cemetery records shown as Alexander, however, newspaper article, marriage records and death record for Charlotte, all show Archibald. There is a write-up for Mr. Macauley in "Hills of Home; Drumheller Valley", however, it is under the name of Daniel Alexander Macauley (see pg 276-277).
- Married to Charlotte Harold Macaulay August 18, 1909 in Glace Bay, N.S. According to Charlotte's death registration, she was born Aug. 5, 1886 in Glace Bay and died Oct. 27, 1961 in North Vancouver. She was cremated.
- Son, Robert Borden Macaulay was born March 20, 1913 in Drumheller and died Sept. 2, 1975 in Vancouver, according to his death certificate. Ancestry shows he was born in Coleman, Alberta, and married to Eileen Longmate. Borden was cremated.
