Edward J. Cohen, 88, formerly of the Town of Cato, died Thursday evening, March 3, at Santa Maria Nursing Home, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. John Conrad will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Cohen was born Sept. 20, 1894, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late John and Margaret Rolland Cohen. He married Olive Meany in November of 1918, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Mr. Cohen farmed in the Town of Cato until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; four daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Burt Derse of Green Bay, Jane and Floyd Scott of Allentown, Grace and Ken Holtz of Garden Grove, Calif., and Ruth and Carl Willman of Denmark; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Clarence and Mary Cohen of Green Bay, and Melvin Cohen of Route 1, Reedsville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Lucy Cohen of Tisch Mills, 26 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John Francis, two brothers, William and Charles, and three sisters, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary.
Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Reedsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
