Mrs. Emma L. Erickson, 95, a Manitowoc resident who now resided at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, June 13, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
Emma L. Miller was born May 29, 1889 in the Town of Cato, Manitowoc county, daughter of the late John and Mary Halfisch Miller. She married William Quirk in 1907 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death in 1925. She then married Henry Erickson in 1932 at Chilton, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1952.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Catherine Quirk of Manitowoc, a half sister, Mrs. Elsie McGuire of Cato, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Leo Quirk, a daughter, Irene Quirk Trainor, a stepson, Herbert Erickson and brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 8:30 a.m. Friday morning until the time of services. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
