She married in 1799, David Montagu Erskine, 2d Baron Erskine (1776-1855), who was a British diplomat, minister to the United States, Wurttemberg, and finally Bavaria. They had 12 children. Her portrait by Gilbert Stuart is in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
