Betty L. (Baer) Jacoby, 92, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of Herbert J. Jacoby, York.
Mrs. Jacoby was born in Foustown on September 13, 1923, daughter of the late Stewart and Edna (Bentzel) Baer.
She was a member of York Church of Christ, York.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Hinkle of Dover; four grandchildren, Eric Jacoby, Todd Jacoby, Craig Hinkle, and Gina Jacoby; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Deveney of York; a brother, Buck Baer of Red Lion; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven J. Jacoby, and a sister.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh.) Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Fred Nowell. Final resting place will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
