Oct. 21, 1958 Stevens Point Daily Journal-Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock In Milwaukee for Frank Wabiszewskl, 67, brother of Mrs. J A. Litzow, 118 N. Illinois Ave. Mr. Wabiszewski, who died Saturday after a long illness was executive vice president the Maynard Electric Steel Cast ing Co., Milwaukee. He was a former member of the State Board of Public Welfare and of the Republican State Central Committee. The services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Milwaukee. The body is at the Fennig & Sons Funeral Home. Born in Milwaukee, Mr. Wabiszewski joined the Maynard Co. when his father, Sylvester, took it over in 1916. In 1930 he became secretary and general manager, and in 1945 executive vice president. Mr. Wabiszewski was appointed to a six-year term on the State Board of Public Welfare in 1939 by Gov. Julius Heil, who was his close friend. He resigned in 1943 because of ill health. He was frequently consulted by Republican governors when political appointments of Milwaukeeans of Polish descent were made. Mr. Wabiszewski was also active in church, fraternal and civic affairs in Milwaukee. He was a top ranking bowler for many years and in 1919 was on the Maynard team which won the state championship. his wife, the former Cecelia Kaminski, whom he was married in 1916; his father, who at 92 is still president and board chairman of the Maynard Co.; two sons; four daughters; two brothers; four sisters, and 12 grandchildren.
