Actress. She will be remembered for playing 'Kelly Gregg', opposite John Forsythe in the TV series "Bachelor Father" (1957 to 1962). Born in New England, her family moved to Hollywood after her father took the position of maintenance chief and one of the picture studios. She followed her older sister Donna and younger brothers Hugh and Kelly (brothers Kevin and Brian began their careers years later) into the entertainment industry and marked her motion picture debut with an uncredited role in "Apache Drum" (1951). This was followed with "I Love Merlin" (1953), "Young Bess" (1953, she portrayed Queen Elizabeth I as a child), "Tanganyika" (1954) and "Violent Saturday" (1955). She was cast to play 'Kelly Gregg', the niece of John Forsythe who is sent to live with him after her parents die in an accident. She played the role during the series' entire five-year run. After the show ended, she resumed her film career with "Gidget Goes to Rome" (1963) and "Girls on the Beach" (1965), in addition to numerous TV roles on the programs "Dr. Kildare", "Ben Casey", "Gunsmoke" and "The Big Valley". She retired from acting during the mid 1960s but remained in the industry to work behind-the scenes in small theater productions.
