Wanita M. Crayne, 99, of Waynesburg, died at 6:21 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, in Washington Hospital, after a brief illness.

She was born Monday, April 10, 1916, in Daybrook, W.Va., a daughter of the late Isaac Henry "Joe" Moore and Minnie Wilson Moore.

Mrs. Crayne was a lifelong resident of Greene County. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek and was a homemaker.

On December 23, 1937, she married Paul A. Crayne, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Connie Rush of Waynesburg; a son, Larry Crayne of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Brian Rush of Waynesburg and Marcie Kiger of Waynesburg; three great-grandchildren, Olivia Kiger, Kerrigan Kiger and Zachary Rush; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sisters and a brother.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, January 21, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with the Rev. David Earnest officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
