Frank T. McClain, 53, husband of Mrs. Alice McLain, died at 5:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, 2229 California street.
Mr. McClain, a resident of Columbus 24 years, had been associated with John McGinnis realty company as a salesman the past four years. Prior to that, he was an automobile salesman.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Reed funeral home, conducted by the Rev. William Dale Miller. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery. Casket is open at the funeral home.
Survivors are the wife; a daughter, Miss Betty McLain; his parents, Mr. and Mr. Frank T. Mc Lain, Sr., of Mitchell. S. D.; and three sisters, Mrs. Homer Prather, Aberdeen, S. D., Mrs. Gordon Patterson of Boston, and Mrs. Louis Dale of Wantsville, N.Y.
Mr. McLain was a member of First Methodist church and Elks club. He was born at Mitchell, S.D., Oct. 7, 1906, to Frank T. and Clara Coffin McLain. He and his wife, the former Alice Evans, were married June 24, 1939. In ill health a year, Mr. McLain had been seriously ill two months.
