Actress. Born Perouz Artin Kalfayan, she was a prominent child actress during the 1950s. She made her "big screen" debut in 1950 at the age of seven, in the film "Yasmin". She was a multi-talented entertainer, starring in numerous films as an actress, singer, and dancer. Her film credits include "Dahab" (1952), "Birds of Paradise" (1956), and "My Happiest Days" (1958). She retired from acting at the age of sixteen in 1959 and later married and started a family. She was awarded a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the Cairo Film Festival in 2001 for her work in films.
