FUNERAL DATE SET FOR EX-RESIDENT

Funeral services for Mrs. W.A. Johnson, who died at 7 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) at Falls City at the age of 73, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Macy's chapel with the Rev. W. Everett Henry officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born Julia Amelia Gray, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Kendall Gray, in Roseville, Ill., Feb. 6, 1865. She married Mr. Johnson in Nebraska, March 15, 1889. Mr. Johnson survives, as do the following:

Five sons, Warren, Scotia, Neb.; Glenn, Ord, Neb.; Frank, McMinnville, Clyde, Corvallis; and Ralph, Falls City; three daughters, Alice Johnson of Falls City, and Mrs. Ethel King and Mrs. Dwight Weir of Corvallis; a brother, John Gray of Auburn, Wash.; and a sister, Mrs. W.A. Anderson, Goodwin, Kan. The son, Ralph Johnson, was formerly employed at the Taylor Hardware company here.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson moved from Scotia, Neb., to McMinnville in 1918, remaining here until 1923, when they moved to Falls City.
