Captain Beza Blanchard, a retired sea captain and the oldest man in town, died at his residence at Cumberland Center Saturday, at the age of 89 years. He was the last but one of a large family of children. He was a consistent member of the Congregational Church for 66 years. He was made a life member of the Maine Missionary society the last summer. He leaves two sons and six daughters and a large circle of relatives and friends.
