Patricia A. Limberg, 73, De Pere, died Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born June 30, 1942, in Menominee, Mich., a daughter of the late Burke and Beatrice (Smith) Cooney. On August 17, 1962, she married Wayne E. Limberg in Marinette, Wis. Patricia was a true Wisconsin sports fan; rooting for the Packers especially but also the Brewers, Bucks, or Badgers. She was such a positive person and always in a good mood. Her collection of elephants was a treasure to her. Patricia’s greatest joy and treasure was her grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her son, Steve (Virginia) of Mitchell, S.D.; her three grandchildren: Calvin, Jedidiah and Tess; her two brothers: Dennis (Barb) Cooney and Burke (Doris) Cooney; her sister, MaryLee (Peter) Niewiadowski; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; son, Scott; parents, Burke and Beatrice; brother, Ron (Nancy Cooney); and her sister, Darlene Cooney. Friends and family may visit from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. A service will follow at 1:30 at the funeral home.
