She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and worked in the toy department of Sears for 32 years. She loved baking and listening to gospel music. Momma Jean had a smile that would light up the world and was a loving wife, the best mother in the world, and caring friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Cornwell.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Cornwell and wife, Ingrid of Fayetteville; a daughter, Lynn Chason of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Stacy of Seattle, Wash.; and many nieces that she loved.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday February 29, 2016 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park West.
