Musician, Singer. He was a member of the rock and roll nostalgia group Sha Na Na. He attended Northeastern University where he was a part of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He got his musical start as a member of the group Danny and the Juniors. He went on to become part of the group Sha Na Na where he sang and played the saxophone. As a member of Sha Na Na, he appeared on their television show from 1978 to 1981 and was featured in several motion pictures including "Grease" where he sang the lead on the song "Blue Moon". He performed with the group until retiring to his home in Martha's Vineyard in 2000.
