Addie was the daughter of Richard Sweet and Josephine Thurman. On 20 Jul 1925 she married Theodore Brumleve. They never had any children. She was active for many years for the Community Chest and the Red Cross. She also devoted a lot of her time to the Susan Speed Davis Home & Hospital. Addie died of congestive heart failure at her home, 1164 Eastern Parkway, at the age of 55.
