Wife of Captain Christopher Hussey mother of John, Mary, And Stephen Hussey.

She married, as his 1st wife, by 1635, Christopher Hussey (1598/9-1685/6). They came to Massachusetts Bay in 1633. First settled in Lynn MA; moved to Newbury MA by 1638, & Hampton NH in 1639. They had five known children: John, Mary Page Green Dow, Theodata, Stephen, & Hulda Smith. [Source: Anderson's Great Migration Begins] Theodate Bachiler IS NOT buried at High Street Cemetery in Hampton, Rockingham County, NH, as that cemetery was not created until after 200 years after the death date for Theodate Hussey. There is also a marker for her at the Founders Burial Ground of Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts.
