Daughter of Michel Henri (Michael Henry) DeYoung and Amelia Morange. Her brothers founded the San Francisco Chronicle.

2. Amelia, b. 1850
3. Adolphe Benjamin, b. 13 Jan 1852 in St. Louis, MO, d. 7 Apr 1914 in Battle Mountain, NV. He was a newspaper editor.

7. Helen (born Ida Louisa), b. 14 Feb 1860 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Helen became an actress under the name "Helen Dauvray"; sometimes she also went by "Little Nell, the California Diamond". She married first, Leonard F. Tracy, 7 Jul 1880, divorcing him 18 Oct 1883. She married second, John Montgomery Ward, 12 Oct 1887. They were the Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio of their day, and a trophy called the "Dauvray Cup" was founded during their marriage -- it was effectively the first World Series trophy. They divorced 30 Nov 1893, and Helen married third, Admiral Albert G. Winterhalter in 1896. She died 6 Dec 1923, in Washington, DC.

Married second, John L. Williams, a printer, about 1864.

From the Washington Herald, 26 Feb 1913:

On February 25, 1913, Mrs. LOUISA WILLIAMS, in her eighty-fourth year, mother of Mrs. A.G. [Helen] Winterhalter. Funeral private.
