DUNN WAR HERO WILL BE REBURIED: Funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon for Pfc. William Paschal (Buster) Tart, 18, who was killed in action on Tinian July 24, 1944. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm N Tart of Route 2, Dunn. The youth enlisted in the marines on December 23, 1943, trained at Parris Island and at Camp Lejeune. He went overseas in June 1944 and served with Company L of the famous Fourth Marine Division. Details of how he was killed in action are not known here. The body will arrive in Dunn Monday and will be taken to the home of his parents late Monday afternoon to remain there until time for the funeral. Rites will be held at 3:30pm at the Grove Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with full military honors. In charge of the military rites will be Dunn Post No. 59 of the American Legion and Dunn's Battery B of the 113th field artillery of the national guard. Surviving are his parents; one sister, Mrs. Maurice Bailey of Dunn; six brothers, Wallace, H.J., Billy, Glenn, and David M. Tart, all of Route 2, and his grandmother, Mrs. Kizzie Tart of Route 2 Dunn.
