She was born December 12, 1932, in Dallas, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry and Edith Dunlap Lilley.
Mrs. Phillips, who was known as Dorma, took great pride in her livelihood while she was employed at Hillsview Rest Home in Claysville. She enjoyed the camaraderie of her co-workers and helping the residents and making their home more beautiful.
She previously attended Living Water Church of God in Washington and Central Assembly of God Church in Houston.
Mrs. Phillips' favorite pastimes were cooking and baking for her family and the yearly grandkids' party that was enjoyed by all.
On September 13, 1951, in Washington, she married Frank Phillips, who passed away December 6, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Frank (Tonya) Phillips Jr. of Houston; two daughters, Linda Diane (John) Lane of Mechanicsburg and Norma (James) Cessna of Shippensburg; a brother, Blair "Duke" Lilley of Beaver Falls, Ohio; a sister, Jane Lilley Gorby of Negley, Ohio; six grandchildren, Stacy (Brian) Barnard of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carla (Scott) Alaskey of Houston, Matthew (Mary) Lane and Amanda (Jason) DeLorenzo, both of Mechanicsburg, John (Danielle) Cessna of Mt. Holly Springs and Frank (Lynn) Cessna of Mt. Joy; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of a celebration of Mrs. Phillips' life, Saturday, March 5, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
