Duchess of Mecklenburg, originally Princess of Sweden. German name: Kristine. She is considered the probable daughter of King Sweartgar II and Queen Benedicta of Sweden, though a certain amount of doubt has also been expressed about her exact heritage. Such doubts, however, have often been expressed by 20th century Swedish historians about a vast amount of information pertaining to Swedish royalty prior to the 13th cenrtury, much of which later has been acknowledged as factual. Next to nothing else is known about Christina, except for her grave information.
