Jane (McFarland) Bixby passed away in San Francisco on November 23, 2008. Born in San Francisco on October 23, 1911, age 97 years, 1 month. She survived her husband of 39 years, Wilfred E. Bixby, survived her son Bill Bixby, and survived her grandson Christopher Bixby. Graduated from Girls' High School in San Francisco and attended University of California. She had a 40 year career as trainer of personnel and buyer for I. Magnin's in San Francisco. She is survived by her nephew John Schubert and niece Joan Dickerson and many grandnephews and grandnieces. A celebration of Jane's life will be held in January 2009 in San Francisco.
