DELOSS J. "DEE" DAGER, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at his residence. Born Jan. 17, 1922, in Monroeville, he was a son of the late Fred and Mary Dager. He served in the Army in the 9th Armored Division during World War II where he received the Purple Heart, he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and then worked in the steel mill at Slater Steel, retiring in 1984. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Becker) Dager of Fort Wayne; son-in-law, James Bowman; grandsons, Todd (Lori) Bowman, Paul (Ricki) Bowman and Jimmy Bowman; six great-grandkids; and three great-great-grandkids. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois; daughter, Connie Bowman; son, Robert Dager; and eight siblings. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Dave Trimble officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to A.M.H.A. Hospice, 2355 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix, Ariz.
