ALBERTA WISE FRASER
Alberta is the daughter of Cary Franklin Wise and Elizabeth E. Kinzer Wise. The family lived in Highland County, Ohio, Page County, Iowa, East Orange, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York.
Sister of Rosalie, Ella Christine, Charles Lee and Glenn Kinzer Wise, Sr.
She married late in life to Edward Fraser. They are living in Jersey City, NJ in the 1930 Census, both age 50, married in 1928. Edward works in a telegraph office.
I haven't found Edward's date of death yet, but Bertie was living in Pasadena. CA when my husband's family moved to CA about 1945 and stayed with his grandparents. Bertie was a opera singer and had a bedroom upstairs and he remembers hearing her singing. While living in NY her mother lived with her until her death in 1927. Bertie is buried in the family plot with her Mom and Dad, two sisters and a nephew. Edward may be buried with his family.
Her brother, Charles L. Wise, was the oldest child and the first to move to New York; he married and had two daughters. He, his wife and one daughter are in this cemetery. I haven't been able to find the burial place of the other daughter, Norma Lee Wise, she married Henry Greenman Canda Sr. in 1921 and had a son, Henry, Jr.
