Alvin A. Platteter found peace after a prolonged illness at Alexian Village Friday April 18, 2003. Age 89.

Born February 10, 1914, in Stetsonville, Wisconsin.

Cherished husband of Ann (Tehan) Platteter and preceded in death by wife Luella (Lindboe) Platteter.

Brother of Merlin (Erma) and Kenneth (Beverly), brother-in-law of Mary Vanderkuyl and Veronica Williams.

Preceded in death by 3 brothers Reuben, Herbert, Wallace.

Al was an electrical engineer. He worked for Allis Chalmers Manufacturing Company where he retired. After his retirement, he was an instructor at Milwaukee Institute of Technology.

Cremains of Alvin & Ann Platteter are buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in the same grave as Bertha Armitage (the wife of Ann's first husband).
