Patricia Leehe, age 91 of Spring Valley, Wisconsin died Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church, Hatchville. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 18 at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Burial will be at a later date in the Spring Lake Public Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Pat was born August 9, 1924 to Henry and Mildred (Kline) Jorstad at Rice Lake, Wisconsin. She grew up in Minneapolis and spent summers with her dad at Ridgeland. She graduated as Valedictorian of Central High School in Minneapolis with the Class of 1942. She attended 1 year of nursing school and 1 year of beautician school where she earned her beautician’s license.
Pat worked as a beautician for a while on Nicolet Ave in Minneapolis. On May 23, 1946 she married Ivan Sather at Central Lutheran in Minneapolis. They had one son Allen. Ivan was a decorated WWII Combat Veteran and fought at the Battle of the Bulge. He died as a result of an automobile accident in 1951.
On February 8, 1952 Pat married Robert Leehe at Stillwater, Minnesota and had one son Jeff. They lived at Racine, Wisconsin for many years where she worked as accountant for her husband’s business, Crestline Paint and Decorating. In 1974 they bought the Adolph Leehe farm in Spring Lake Township and retired there. Pat worked part-time at the Valley Bar and the Elmwood Rod and Gun. She was her son Jeff’s bookkeeper, Jeff Leehe Painting and Decorating, from 1991 until 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Ivan and Robert; and brother Doug Jorstad.
She is survived by her 2 sons: Allen (Mary Ann) Sather of Kenosha, WI; Jeff (Karen) Leehe of Elmwood, WI; 1 granddaughter Melinda Sather of Phoenix, AZ; 2 great grandchildren: Devyn and Leilah; brother-in-law Henry ‘Hans’ Leehe; sisters-in-law: Velta Trealoff, Marge Leehe, and Grace Jorstad; many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were: Steve Galoff, Rod Webb, GlenWebb, Mark DeRusha, Jim Maves, and Larry Hofacker.
