She would appear in several other films including "American Gigolo (1980) and "Made in America" (1993). She also appeared in many television shows, among them "Murder, She Wrote" and her daughter's show "Murphy Brown". Edgar Bergen died in 1978. Her name when she was born was Leo Frances Westerman
