May, Jack A. 81, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed in his sleep on July 7, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL.
He was born April 20, 1931.
Jack is survived by wife of 58 years, Jean May (nee Hannum), his son, Gary May, Karon May (nee Everett), daughter-in-law, Adam May, grandson, Kelley Knutson (nee May), granddaughter and her husband Brent Knutson and Addison Knutson, great-granddaughter. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Loean May, his brothers Robert May (Carol) and Richard May (Delores) and sister Joan Skeen (Don). Jack will be missed by numerous other relatives and good friends.
Jack was a retired schoolteacher and coach for over 30 years. He taught and coached at Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, MS. and Milwaukee Public Schools (Lincoln High School and Madison High School). During his tenure, Jack taught Physical Education and Health Education and touched many lives as a football, basketball and track coach. Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Friday, July 20, 2012, from 10:30AM until 12:30PM (13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's honor to Hope Hospice 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
