BROWN — Monday morning at 11:53 o'clock at a local infirmary, John W. Brown in the 88th year of his age. Survived by children, Mrs. H, W. Duncan, J. Arthur Brown, Miss Myrtle Brown, Mrs. Charles L. Badger, Mrs. Emerson Smith, Hubert F. Brown, Fred W. Brown, Mrs. Albert J. Sheffield, 16 grandchildren. seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. John Phillips, Gleason, Tennessee. Remains are at the funeral home, 2014 West End Avenue where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 by Elder S. J. Haughey and Rev. Strickland. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment at Springhill Cemetery. Johnson & Charlton Co. Funeral Directors.
