Bernie Ray Beaver, 72, of Menominee, MI passed away at his home on Friday, March 25, 2016. He as born on January 16, 1944, in Bottineau, N.D., to Bennie and Ruth (Kamrud) Beaver.

Bernie grew up on the family farm near Rolette, N.D. and graduated from Rolette High School in 1962. He went on to graduate from the Hub City Bible Institute. After finishing his schooling, Bernie enlisted in the Army, serving a total of 10 years, between active duty and the National Guard. He worked for 31 years as a machinist at KSU in Marinette.

Bernie is survived by his children:
Beth (Dan) Sheber and Brenda (Joe) Spencer ~[whose mother, Dorothy Beaver, preceded him];
Barry (Judy) Beaver and Janel (Chris) Aho ~ their mother Jewel Pennington;
and Susan Luchow;
12 grandchildren;
siblings: Sharon (Larry) Marrs and Chris (Barbara) Reed;
his life partner, Char Searvogel;
and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Carl Beaver and one sister Doris Martenson.

Friends may call at the Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home after 12 noon on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., with Pastor Herb Kolenda Jr. officiating. Burial with Honors, will be at the Forest Home Cemetery.
