Addison F. Bender, Jr., retired accountant and former president of the Philadelphia Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, died Sunday at his home, 1845 Wolf st. He was 81.
Mr. Bender, who retired from the Philadelphia Electric Co. in 1949 after 56 years' service, had served as registrar and executive committee member of the Society of the War of 1812 and financial secretary of the Men's Association of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rhea Weyant, and a son, Addison F., 3d. Services will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday at the Oliver Bair funeral home, 1820 Chestnut st.
