Virginia Louise Banaszak was born May 20th, 1930 to Simon and Margaret Banaszak. She grew up in Beaver, Wisconsin and attended Coleman High School.
She married Harold [Butch] Richlen May 13th, 1951 in Crivitz while he was in the service. She was a lifelong resident of Crivitz. She was active in her husband’s service station as the bookkeeper until they retired. Until her health declined, they spent time traveling in their motor home to Florida and Biloxi, Mississippi. She enjoyed her flower gardens and a sunny day. She also enjoyed visiting her children, often spending a couple weeks at their homes. She was an active member at St. Mary’s Parish. She also was a past member on the Crivitz Rescue Squad as an EMT.
She will be missed by her husband of 64 years, Harold/Butch; her children: Julie [Scott] Early of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Jacki [Glenn] Seyfert of Peshtigo, Wisconsin and Craig [Kathryn] Richlen of Weston, Massachusetts. She had 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; also three brothers and two sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, April 2nd at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz from 9 a.m. until going to St. Mary’s Church at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass of Christian Service.
