Ruben A. Crenwelge, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 at the age of 71 years.

Ruben is survived by his wife, Connie Williams Crenwelge of Fredericksburg, daughter & spouse, Stephanie & Brian Schneider of San Antonio, grandchildren, Olivia Grace, Amelia Grace and Elliott Brian, two sisters and two brothers & spouses, Rose Stehling Behrends, Milton & Micky Crenwelge, Dorothy & Richard Stehling, Jr., Marvin & Barbara Crenwelge all of Fredericksburg, brother in law & spouse, Edward & Ikey Peter of Fredericksburg

Vigil services will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.

Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Monsignor Enda McKenna officiating.

Graveside services with interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg.

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the St. Mary’s School Endowment Fund; Loving Care; Meals on Wheels; Hill Country Memorial Hospital, or to the charity of their choice.

Visitation for Ruben Crenwelge will be on Wednesday afternoon from 4 to 7:00 P. M. and on Thursday morning from 7 to 10:45 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
