John H. Antonissen, 65, of Marinette, WI passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Bay Area Medical Center, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on September 14, 1950, in Norway, Mich. to Henry and Jane Antonissen of Niagara, Wis.

John graduated from Niagara High School and NWTC in Marinette, completing a one year welding program, and was employed at Marinette Marine Corp. since 1977, as a journeyman welder.

On June 14, 1975, John married Kay Kramer.

Kay survives along with their daughter, Amy Antonissen of Marinette, WI;
a sister, Nancy (Dwayne) Whitfield of Oneida, Wis.;
a brother, David (Sharon) Antonissen of Niagara, Wis.;
an uncle, Art Antonissen of Minnesota;
an aunt, June (George) Witkowski of Niagara, Wis.;
and nephews, nieces and cousins.

No services will be held.
A memorial fund has been established.
