Margaret married Richard L. Swoverland on August 27, 1949, in Binghamton, New York. She was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Margaret worked with special needs children for the Dallas Independent School District, where she retired. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of McKinney. She is survived by her sons, Kirk A. Swoverland of Dallas, TX, Mark D. Swoverland and wife Patsy of Corinth, TX, Scott E. Swoverland and wife Donna of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Eric Swoverland of The Woodlands, TX, Erin Swoverland of Corinth, TX, Justin Knight of Dallas, TX, and Aubrey Inman of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Allie Inman, Jacob Inman, and Lorelei Inman, all of Dallas, TX. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Swoverland of McKinney, TX; sisters, Mary Jacobson and Jane Curry. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas.
