Killed in France
Pvt. Bessell Bail, husband of Mrs. Beulah Bail of 302-A Randolph St., and son of L. S. Bail of Strange Creek, was killed in France while serving with an infantry unit Aug. 26, the War Department announced yesterday. Pvt. Bail had previously been reported missing. He had been overseas since last February and participated in the invasion of Italy. Other survivors are four brothers, Raymond and Virgil of Charleston; Russell of North Carolina and Osborne in Washington, and three sisters, Mrs. Orval Martin and Mrs, Hallie Adkins of Charleston, and Mrs. Ray Young of Dille.
